1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Rate My Fry (www.ratemyfry.com), you agree to abide by these Terms of Service and our good-humoured community standards.

2. Content Standards & The Breakfast Filter

• Cooked Breakfasts Only: Uploaded photos must depict real cooked breakfasts / fry-ups (Full English, Scottish, Welsh, Irish, Ulster Fry, vegetarian/vegan fry-ups, or café breakfast plates).
• Good-Natured Banter: Passionate debate over bean barriers, hash browns vs. bubble & squeak, and black pudding sear is encouraged. Personal harassment, hate speech, or spam is strictly prohibited.
• Automated Profanity Filter: Our server-side breakfast filter automatically replaces profanity with uppercase breakfast items (such as *BACON*, *SAUSAGE*, and *BLACK PUDDING*).

3. Fair Voting & Bayesian Leaderboard Integrity

To keep our leaderboard fair, creators cannot vote on their own uploads (“Hey you cant vote for yourself!”), and each visitor is limited to one updatable 1–10 score per plate. Automated voting scripts or manipulation will result in removal.

4. Ownership & Licence

You retain ownership of the photos you upload. By posting a photo on Rate My Fry, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display the image on our feed, leaderboards, and venue pages until you choose to delete it.
